DWI expungement in Texas

My boyfriend is thinking about driving for Uber or Lyft, but he got a DUI a few years ago. Do you think it’s possible to pass a background check with a DUI on his record? This is in Texas btw.

Hi Amanda. A DUI or DWI may not disqualify him completely. Depending on how he handled it, dismissed or a conviction. He may be eligible for an expungement if and only if it was dismissed. If he was a minor and this was a minor alcohol violation then he may have more options available. Let me know if this helps.
